October 2nd, 2021 | The Murrays

The saying goes that if you truly love nature, then you can find beauty everywhere. On a wedding day however, most couples would describe their perfect day filled with natural light, golden hour photos, and gorgeous fall leaves. None would ever mention the idea of rain though. The night of the rehearsal, Allison was panicked about the looming forecast as the percentage of rain kept increasing. With no outdoor shelters or other venues to offer, our options where few and concerning to say the least. Getting to know the couple throughout the past year however, I knew they were avid hikers and loved the outdoors. Their knowledge of state and national parks would impress any skilled outdoorsmen, so I asked them, "What is more outdoorsy then getting married in the rain?" Instantly, Allison smiled and and her entire demeanor changed. Lots of hugs followed and the plan was set, rain or shine, the wedding would happen outside. Allison and Michael both agreed that they wanted to start their adventure together surrounded by nature and their favorite people. Even though the ceremony was spared by rain, this awesome couple was fully prepared to find beauty in their wedding day, rain or shine. Congrats to the always amazing Mr. + Mrs. Murray. Adventure is out there!
